The tdb password backend will not make it for 2.2.0.
It is being worked on in HEAD, the 2.2.0 support is an
artifact of development. I should really remove it from
the configure.in.
The only docs for tdb currently are the source, however
it's very easy to use (although GPL *not* LGPL).
