smbclient -M fails

Hello, I'm still getting failure on my use of pop-up messages to my W2K pro
desktop, it WAS working prior to an upgrade to RH7. Here's the symptoms:

[root at server /root]# smbclient -L w2kws1
Can't find include file /etc/samba/smb.conf.
SSL: Error error setting CA cert locations: error:00000000::lib(0) :func(0)

trying default locations.
added interface ip=172.16.4.2 bcast=172.16.4.255 nmask=255.255.255.0
Got a positive name query response from 172.16.1.21 ( 172.16.4.155 )

Note, the include files errors are from my virtual server files. I have the
box specified in /etc/hosts, dns, and via NT WINS servers.
