Ah, so you're saying the problems with win2k/nt5 systems could just lie in 
the fact that client.c wasn't updated properly ? In that case it might just 
work if I look at the libsmb functions and try to implement host browsing / 
connecting to win2k/nt5 systems using the libsmb code as my reference.

Perhaps ? Or am I misunderstanding you.

(is samba-tng supposed to be working with win2k/nt5, that's what I'm curious 
about)
