Seems like W2K uses the older Kerberos GSS mech spec and it uses it
within SPNEGO. That means you need: a) a GSS-API implementation with a
Kerberos GSS v1 mech and b) an SPNEGO GSS mech implementation.
You can get (a) from Heimdal and/or MIT, in variïus states of
completion. Sun's implementation, which allows dynamic runtime selection
of mechanisms may be available someday if and when Sun opens Solaris 8
source and if and when they open SEAM source and if they use a friendly
license (say, SISSL). Some SEAM bits are already open under SISSL, and
they may have added to this since I last checked.
SPNEGO is another deal. I don't know of any OSS implementation.
It can be done.
