Problems with Win NT (SP6?) and plaintext passwords

Hi,

We are trying to map a share in Windows NT (SP6?) when NT comes up. The
Samba server uses plain-text passwords, and the mapping fails.

We have the registry hack installed.

When NT gets the NegProt response, which is OK, but contains the plain-text
password flag, NT disconnects the TCP connection.

Later, if we log on and manually connect, we can bring up the share OK, but
not when the service starts.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Regards
