Samba 2.0.6 and Solaris 7 connectivity problems

That is what I thought, but this guy has the following problem:

Samba 1.9.17 something works for him, while anything above 1.9.17 fails in
the way I described ...

I am trying to get a trace of a client accessing a Samba 1.9.17 server, and
my have to go there to get it.
