First thought, it's a good idea. Got samba-tng-alpha.2.5.3, tried out and get:

bin/rpcclient -S PCmmmmm -I 111.111.111.111 -U 'xxxx%yyyyy' -W aaaaa
added interface ip=222.222.222.10 bcast=222.222.222.255 nmask=255.255.255.0
Server: \\PCmmmmm: User: xxxx Domain: aaaaa
Connection: write_socket_data: write failure. Error = Bad file number
write_socket: Error writing 43 bytes to socket -1: ERRNO = Bad file number
Error writing 43 bytes to client. -1
Segmentation Fault (core dumped)

Seems there is more broken there.
