How the heck can it work?

I have the auth working. What was it you suggeted I check? Please be
specific, I am not very familiar with all things to do with networking.

I know what a getpeername is, but I have no idea what a client_name and
client_addr are.

Good point. Once Ron has finished including auth support, it should work
