smbclient on SCO OpenServer 5.0.5 and Win 3.11

Hello!

As a supplement to my previous letter concerning troubles
with smbclient and character set/code page convertion, I have
to add the following:
When I'm connected with Win 3.11 machine I get such an error
trying to execute dir command:

smb:\> dir

Error: Looping in FIND_NEXT??
ERRSRV - ERRerror (Non-specific error code) listing \*

smbclient from 1.9.18 samba version has no troubles at all.
What is going on?
