Hi Samba Gurus,

Our Samba server (2.0.5a) is running on Solaris 2.7. One of the mount
point(/vol0)
is NFS exported to all of the NT domain users:

Once in a while, the Domain NT user are not able to map the NFS exported
share
(/vol0) to their NT work stations.

When the NT users try the following:

net use F: \\goofey\vol0,

Here is what the samba log for the NT work
station(/usr/lcoal/samba/var/log.jason)

Error message:

	[2000/02/04 13:18:57, 0] passdb/smbpass.c:startsmbfilepwent(50)
  	startsmbfilepwent: unable to open file
	/usr/local/samba/private/smbpasswd
	[2000/02/04 13:18:57, 0] passdb/passdb.c:iterate_getsmbpwnam(149)
unable to open smb password database.
	[2000/02/04 13:09:38, 1] smbd/password.c:pass_check_smb(504)
Couldn't find user 'jasons' in smb_passwd file.
	[2000/02/04 13:09:44, 1] smbd/password.c:server_validate(1131)
password server 192.168.27.10 rejected the password

Any ideas How this can be resolved?

Thanks
Murali
