Per Robert's recommendation, I'm forwarding this onto the
samba-technical list.  One thing that I didn't mention before that may
be important is that I've got AFS support compiled in and AFS is running
on the Samba server as well.  Anyone know why Samba would be looking
hostnames up in the passwd.byname NIS map??
