samba and windows 2000

Hy

i am planning to use a samba server on a linux Redhat 6.2 Machine to be
accessed by Windows 2000 pro workstation.
i did it with NT and i am worried about the "Enable Plain Text Password" to
add in the registery
is it still valid with Windows 2000 and where do i have to add this option
in Registery ?
