Location of VFS documentation

The README for Samba VFS Examples (...samba/examples/VFS/README) indicates
that additional documentation on writing VFS modules for Samba can be found
in the docs directory of the Samba source distribution.

I'm not finding any document in the ...samba/docs/... directory or
sub-directories named in such a manner as to lead me to believe that the
document contains VFS information.

Where can I find additional VFS information?
