How to auto-start Samba at bootup

I'm running Red Hat 6.2, and Samba 2.06
I've got the following 2 lines in /etc/inetd.conf

netbios-ssn stream tcp nowait root /usr/sbin/smbd smbd
netbios-ns dgram udp wait root /usr/sbin/nmbd nmbd

I can manually start and stop Samba by typing
/etc/rc.d/init.c/smb start

or
/etc/rc.d/init.c/smb stop

and I can see my Linux box from my Windows machine after starting Samba, but
I can't seem to get Samba to run automatically.

What am I doing wrong ?

thanks
