samba-2.0.7pre3 + patches for interfaces (broadcast on loopback), smbd
dir . and .. and utmp.
PIII450, 128M, 10Mbps, IDE disk.
client.txt is of 4215832 bytes.
It seems I have problem with just 1 user :), or maybe I don't
understand the logic of the output.
Client and server are the same machine.
./smbtorture //localhost/windows -Udummy% -N 1 NBW95
...
about 8000 lines of
(35) nb_read: handle 4182 was not open size=3634 ofs=462
(44) nb_close: handle 4183 was not open
(60) nb_read: handle 4184 was not open size=16384 ofs=0
(83) nb_read: handle 4186 was not open size=16384 ofs=6
(102) nb_close: handle 4186 was not open
(139) nb_close: handle 4187 was not open
(189) nb_close: handle 4188 was not open
..
+*
Throughput 30.3965 MB/sec (NB=37.9956 MB/sec 303.965 MBit/sec)
NBW95 took 4.34276 secs
./smbtorture //localhost/windows -Udummy% -N 40 NBW95
...
about 330000 lines of output like the above
+*
Throughput 28.5241 MB/sec (NB=35.6551 MB/sec 285.241 MBit/sec)
NBW95 took 185.107 secs
There is no "write" or "failed" in the output though.
