samba-tng-1.8 maybe a bug

hallo ! 
I am working on a project that uses samba-tng and its libsmb via Brodu's libsmb++, but clientgen.c cometimes crashes in cli_list on somewhare around the line 2347. I discovered, hat sometimes the pointer "p" becomes NULL, so it crashes on the parsing. I added if (p==NULL) continue, now it seems to work, but I do not know what I have really done.
