Hi,

for a documentation project I am doing, I am interested in knowing where
Linux distros put files for Samba.

I have info on:

  RedHat /etc/smb.conf etc and /var/log/samba
  TurboLinux ditto
  Linux Mandrake ditto
  Caldera /etc/samba.d/ ... and /var/log/samba.d
  SuSE Soon will know

However, what about Yellow Dog Linux, Stampede Linux, Debian, Slackware,
and so forth?

Does anyone have any answers?

Regards
