smbfs and smbpasswd file

But isn't it cleartext equivalent?
Anyway, what about an argument to specify which file contains the
passwords?
This way you could cope with unmatching passwords in the smbpasswd file
and the remote system. If the file isn't specified, you could always
fall back to the smbpasswd file.
