HELP: Domain Administrator!!

Thanks a lot,

I have downloaded and installed the latest version 2.1.0-prealpha. It works
fine. I can define Domain Admins group using "domain group map" parameter,
and log on to the PDC domain from another NT server with the Administrator
account. It's just that I cannot make any modification in the USER MANAGER,
it always gives me the message "The remote procedure call failed" every time
when I click OK button.

Does Samba PDC allow the Domain Admins to log on from another NT server to
make modifications in the USER MANAGER?

Thanks and regards,

You need Samba 2.1.0-prealpha to enable this level of PDC functionality.

Only for Domain Administrators in 2.0.3 there is another parameter:

In your smb.conf's global section, try:

	domain admin group = @ntadmins

and in /etc/group, give it a try with something similar to:

ntadmins:hero,rambo,admin,you
