Samba 2.0.6 breaks my PROFILES share?

Hi,

I just downloaded 2.0.6, hacked my "veto exempt" patch onto it, ran
configure (takes soooo long), make (takes even longer, poor DX/2 66), make
install... and all seemed well. Today, I actually looked in my home dir,
and saw some dirs that shouldn't be there, ie Desktop, Recent, NetHood etc.
It seems 2.0.6 doesn't like my "logon path" parameter, and stops storing
stuff in \\<server>\profiles. Here are the relevant parts of smb.conf:

logon path = \\<server>\profiles\%U

[profiles]
         comment = User profiles
         path = /home/profiles
         read only = No
         browseable = No
         create mask = 0700
         directory mask = 0700
         public = No

Any ideas why this might be happening?

Freddie
