Hi,

I posted a couple of days ago about Win2K and it not seeing the network.
There is nothing in the Network Neighborhood showing Samba and Windows 9x.

Now, I have looked further, and I can find my Samba computer, but I cannot
browse it at all.

As soon as I try to brows the Samba server, I get a password dialog box,
but I cannot get any further. I type in a correct username and password
pair, but as far as I can see, Win2K drops the connection as soon as it
gets the NetProt response back.

Perhaps it objects to the fact that the server is not using encrypted
passwords?

Can anyone advise?

Regards
