fake shares

I've observed an interesting thing and I'm wodering if it's happening
only me or is something else. The Explorer from Win98 shows all Samba
shares right but if I try to connect to an inexisting share by typing
manualy "\\samba_server\new_share" after a while this share is shown (!)
and it have the content of a common share. 

More than that, the Explorer also shows a new _network_ connected.
Is this normal ?
