Large file transfer

Gary,

This really isn't a question for Samba Technical.  The list name is a bit 
unclear, but the list is for discussions of the technical details of the 
various protocols that make up the CIFS suite and, in particular, the 
Samba implementation of that protocol suite.  On this list, we're 
generally talking about the future.

To get help on this, I'd first suggest running Samba 2.0.3, which is the
latest revision and which contains many enhancements over the 1.9 series. 
Also, any bug fixes made during the 1.9 series will be included in 2.0.x.

If you still have the problem, the mailing list you want is the
samba at samba.org list.  This is where the user community hangs out, and
these are the people who will most likely be able to answer your question. 
They've got the experience using Samba.
