Quick test, then, would be to disable the test, possibly by compiling as 
non-root.

Curious, though... I didn't see the "ERROR: This test must be run as root 
- assuming non-trapdoor system" message.  I'd guess that the test isn't 
run at all.  I'll have to take a look.

Any comments, Alexandre?
