swig.org and client routines

http://www.swig.org/ might be a simple way for users of langauges such as
perl, tcl, python, java, guile and so on to access routines in
smbclient/smblib without much work on the part of the samba team. I
haven't personally used it for more than the examples, but it is
intriguing.
Examples: connecting a standard tcl/tk file browsing widget with smb calls
out of smbclient. This could then be part of tkdesk (not that many people
use tkdesk I suppose :-) Or hooking up various tree-walking objects in
CPAN (www.cpan.org) to the same via Perl.
