passwd chat in smb.conf

Hi, 

I am attempting to use the passwd chat parameter in the smb.conf file.

I am finding a few interesting divergences from the documentation and a big
problem, and wonder if anyone else has seen this problem.

I have unix password sync set to true and find that I need a passwd chat of:

New*UNIX*password:* %n\n *Retype*new*UNIX*password:* %n\n
*updated*successfully*

Now, I get past the first two sequences, but (with passwd chat debug =
True) the responsebuf comes back empty for the last one.

I am using Red Hat 5.0 with a 2.0.32 kernel for this test.

Has anyone seen this problem?
