New lookup functions in SAMBA 2.0

The new functions to lookup user names remotely in an
nt domain controller are included in samlib?.

where can i find examples on how to use them?
is it possible with your knowledge to implement some of the
api of NT to access remotely the registry and any other
function that uses SMB?
