Hi:

Im running Samba in a OS/2 Lan Server domain. and found nmbd ignoring lm host
announces from Lanserver 4.0 and WSeB.

process_lm_host_announce: LM Announcement from PC7019<00> IP 195.1.136.93 to
TNSBS4<00> for server PC7019.
process_lm_host_announce: os=(4,0) ttl=180 server type=0000002b comment=Domain
Controler der TN SBS 4 process_lm_host_announce: LM Announcement packet does
not originate from OS/2 Warp client. Ignoring packet.

Is there a reason for ignoring announces from Lan server and Warp server ?

  if ((osmajor < 36) || (osmajor > 38) || (osminor !=0))
  {
    DEBUG(5,("process_lm_host_announce: LM Announcement packet does not \
originate from OS/2 Warp client. Ignoring packet.\n"));
    /* Could have been from a Windows machine (with its LM Announce enabled),
       or a Samba server. Then don't disrupt the current browse list. */
    return;
  }

Lan server 4 has a major os version of 4, Warp Server for eBusisiness has 5.

 Greetings from Vienna

      Hannes
