SunSolaris /dev/random device

samba starts up but shows no action (also not in logfiles)
it runs au SunOS 2.6
after trussing I found that it was accessing /dev/random. After removing
/dev/random smbd did well.

The devicefile created a part of the cryptographic SunWeb Server
Pachage.
