You *did* say let 'us' know, so I'm responding to the list. (I saw someone
else respond to the list, so I feel safe doing this.) Someone should let
the list know if we shouldn't respond to the list.

	[Spencer Jr., Michael]
Ameristar Casino Council Bluffs is a wholly-owned subsidiary of
Ameristar Casinos, Inc. We're a casino, so we generally don't like risks.
Our corporate office currently has a Corporate LAN Administrator who is very
pro-Microsoft. (He seems to think even one Linux box on the network taints
the whole thing somehow.)

	[Spencer Jr., Michael]
We currently use Samba as a fileserver, to replace our aging Novell
Netware 3.12 server. We already have an NT PDC that handles our printing
and other services.

	Samba 2.0.3

	[Spencer Jr., Michael]
Compaq Proliant 1500: Linux 2.0.36, 16 MB RAM, 2x2.1 GB SCSI HD,
10mbit NE2000 ISA network card, peak 6-8 mbit

	[Spencer Jr., Michael]
225 users currently on NT 4 PDC (DOMAIN security). Peak 120
simultaneous users, average peak 70 users. Most users sit idle, so assume
about 10 users active at a time.

> - what sort of hosts connect to your servers.
	[Spencer Jr., Michael]
	Win98, Win98, NT 4 (server and workstation)
