Yes.  I was going to use this before I found Samba.  I had acquired the demo software and spent quite a bit of time on the phone with Facetcorp tech support and sales.  Then I found Samba, which was more expandable and which I felt was more UNIX like.  I also got Samba, which I think was at like 1.7.x or 1.8.x at the time, working first time, and it was taking way to long to get FacetWin that you pay for working.  When the Facet folks called me and asked if I was going to buy, I told 'em no, that I had found a freeware solution (back in the days before "open source" :) ).  There is a bunch of other stuff, like Terminal Emulation, included in there also, which we had no need for -- if we were going to have users login to the machine, there would have been little need to share files with the clients.  I haven't checked out FacetWin's capabilities in a long time, so they might be comparable to Samba's features today, but it's too late,  I'm a Samba man.
