User lists in W95

Hello,

I was playing around with todays (1998-10-09) CVS version of samba and could get rpcclient to get userlists from the server. However neither usrmgr nor the share dialog box on windows could do the same. Having looked through the logs (that I haven't eclosed with this posting, but can send on prompt) it seems as if rpcclient sends a OpenX (or whatever you call it) to the LSARPC pipe.

The share dialog box and usrmgr seems to send a trans instead. The share dialog box uses the LSARPC pipe and usrmgr the VKSSVC, SRVSVC and WINREG pipes.

The important difference is anyway that both the share dialog box and usrmgr ends up in ipc.c reply_trans and named_pipe that doesn't recognize the pipe (only LANMAN and "" pipe) and stops while rpcclient ends up in reply_open_pipe_and_X and gets an answer. If anyone could transform this or what they already know into support for usrmgr and the share dialog box in Windows95 I would be very happy.

Best regards,
