There is an alternative for those that HAVE to run multiple protocols on NT,
when the domain master browser does not.  Try changing registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Browser\Parameters
  IsDomainMaster: FALSE
  MaintainServerList: No

MaintainServerList FALSE prevents negotiating to become a master browser.
IsDomainMaster MUST be FALSE when you do this on NT so its not stuck in
its own isolated little browser world.

Win95 and 98 have similar entries, but I haven't tried it there.
