Multiple-smb.conf for samba

Hi all,

        Is it possible to have multiple smb.conf files on separate
machines, but only running one instance of samba?  Meaning, I want to
have one samba server and have my other (9 sparc's running solaris 2.6)
machine's pointing to my samba server with their own smb.conf file....
I have been reading the smb.conf man pages for the last couple of days
but could not find anything on multiple configurations.  can anyone
help.....
