Trailing backslashes in Makefile

	I think you have an odd make on your Solaris...  
	I just tested it on 2.5 and \-extended lines
	are procesed normally. My Irix box is down
	so I can't check it, but it wasn't broken

	I looked it was fixed in Sinix, too.
