Send messages to serveral clients.

Hi,

we need to send the same message to serveral/all clients that are
connected to a samba server.
What we see is, that this is not possible with 'smbclient'.
Ok, we can hack a shell script with awk and some other stuff to solve
this problem. But... if there're  other people which have the same
problem it would be nice to do that directly with 'smbclient' or a new
tool, maybe 'smbwall' or something similar.
If there is no work done yet, we are willing to do so.
Any other proposals?
