Samba 2.2 PDC with win2000

Hello 

I cant get win2000 Professional to join the domain correctly.

I changed the security "security = user". There is also a machine trust account in both the /etc/passwd and /etc/smbpasswd file. 
Other functions in smb.conf file are set correctly but I cant join the domain.

I tryed it with NT4 and it worked well for the same configuration of samba. But with win2000 it seems not to work.
