winbind

If I recall correctly there is only one Samba Team developer that is a
member of this list. All the others moved to the main SAMBA list. Check the
list history as to their reasons. The support here is predominantly user
based.

Yes, I know what you mean.  I could not even get it to compile on Solaris
(8) 
unless I used the following option:


./configure --with-winbind=no


What about it Samba Team?  Is winbind supported or going to be supported on 
Solaris?
