Domain unavailable / server not setup for transactions

In order for Winxp to logon to the samba domain you would have to change the 
following registry key.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet\Services\Netlogon\Parameters\requir
esignorseal

value to 0

In my case it solved the problem.
