joining a samba 2.2.0 domain with windowsXP

hi all

I am running samba 2.2.0 alpha3 ond my linux-server. I set it up as
NT-Domain controller. On win98, everything is working fine, but if I want to
join the domain with my windowsXP client I get an error message. "The
procedure number is out of range."

I made the machine account before. Does anyone know the problem behind this?
