Hi

I`m using Smaba2.2 with Solaris. A group of people should have
the right to edit the smbpasswd-file. Therefore I created a
new group and changed the file to this group. I set the
goup-write-Bit to 1. Now when I modify the smbpasswd-file
( smbpasswd -a; or integrate a new client) the Bit will automatically
disapeared.

Can help someone?

Harald
