samba 2.2alpha3

has per my last email with getting a windows 2000 machine to doing a 
samba domain, 

I have tried it with a brand new machine, when I look in the smbpasswd 
file before I get the machine to join I have it something like this.

machinename$:passwd:[W		]:LCT-xxxxxxx

after I try and get a machine to join , I have this in the smbpasswd 
file

machinename$:passwd:[DW			]:LCT-xxxxxxx

Any ideas ?
