"Duplicate name exists on the network" help!

Can anyone help me with this?  I'm having trouble
connecting my Win2k machine to samba2.2.0alpha.  I get
the error message, "Duplicate name exists on the
network" after I enter the domain name, and enter a
username and password.  I've followed the How-to
exactly.  Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?  As
far as I know, there are no duplicate names on the
network (my computer's name, server's name, workgroup,
and the domain name are different).  The only thing I
do see is that the domain does exist as a seperate
workgroup under Network Neighborhood, but I don't know
if that's the problem.
