No.  Not AD.  Samba requires NetBIOS and NTLMv1 as I stated
below.  The correction was that Win2k DC's provide and
legacy interface to the account database via the SAMR RPCs.
All Win2k DC can provide this interface, not just a mixed mode
DC.
