Samba & NT

Hi,
I have a question; i'm having an older version of samba (1.9.18p10) which 
is configured as a domain controller. And there is also a workgroup 
configured.

I have a lot of W95 clients which are working without problems.
Now i'm trying to connect a Windows NT Workstation (SP6) to the samba 
server but it didn't
work!

I didn't see the workgroup name i provided on the logon screen the only two 
thing
there are username/passwd

What do i do wrong ?

Or isn't this possible at all (i know i have to upgrade samba)
