Mounting shares before logging in

I did ask, and got some suggestions, and the MSDN web site has some advice
on this.

At the end of the day, I did not really need to do this, and simply allowed
the Windows NT box to access the share by ensuring that it could log on.
The application could be told what account to use to access the server.
