pam_smb 1.9.8 - broken ??

Hi all...

Anyone here use pam_smb-1.9.8 for authenticating against a NT4 PDC ?
I'm having a lot of problems getting it to work....

Tried it on both a RH6.2 and RH7.0 system without any luck.
I'd like to hear from anyone that has successfully set it up and is using it
in a production environment.
