change your add user script to:

/usr/sbin/adduser -noconfig -group users -d /dev/null -s /bin/false %u

and that will work.


That bug has been fixed in SAMBA_2_2 (cvs) last weekend.

Samba HEAD (cvs) is not yet fixed.
