"Duplicate name exists on the network" help!

Roughly 2.5 year ago, when PDC support in samba started, domain and 
pdc could have the same name and there were roumors of this causing 
problems. And I can confirm that a couple of mysterious problems went 
away when I changed the name of the domain.
