Domain security, Solaris 2.6->Win2K (Samba 2.2)

Interesting. Since posting this, I've tried searching a bit more closely
for said topic, and I've found I'm not the only one in this quandary!

Seems to be an issue on Solaris 2.6/2.8 Samba 2.2.2, authenticating via a
Win2K PDC using Domain security.

Another symptom that more than one person has matched up on: The Win2K box
sees the Samba server not as "NT" or "NT 4.0" but as "" <!> - yup, blank.

The clue hunt continues ...
